Khasxan Developments Ltd. is a 100% Indigenous-owned and operated contracting company based in Grasmere, (Cranbrook) British Columbia, dedicated to providing high-quality earthworks, mining support, construction consulting, landscaping, logging, snow removal, and a wide range of related services throughout the East Kootenay region. With cultural ties through the Teslin Tlingit Council and deep family roots in the Kootenays dating back to the early 1900s, the company carries a legacy of hard work, strong community relationships, and an unwavering commitment to professionalism, safety, and integrity.


Founded in 2022 by owner and Managing Director Albert Johnson, Khasxan Developments Ltd. is built upon more than 20 years of direct industry experience. Albert has spent over two decades working across mining, logging, earthworks, and heavy equipment operations, including serving as a supervisor and senior supervisor in the coal mining sector. His career has allowed him to develop exceptional expertise in equipment operation, team leadership, project coordination, safety management, and environmental compliance. His unmatched level of hands-on experience and leadership is one of the company’s greatest strengths and a cornerstone of its competitive advantage.
